After many stops and starts I’ve finally got this site up and running! What has caused the delays? Primarily this darn thing called procrastination that ultimately stems from a perceived need for perfection. I have often struggled with putting myself out there and doing a new thing when I am not immediately an expert. I feel that I will be judged for my mistakes and not accepted into whatever group I am attempting to join up with. I’m learning that showing up with a good heart and good intentions is more important than error free achievements and compassion and acceptance is better than any perfect score. I have been working on changing these thoughts but after 40 years of my brain believing in perfectionism it is taking some time to rewire the thoughts. The imposter syndrome is strong!!!
I am going to try to put down some thoughts here on a semi regular basis. I am saying this out loud to you all so I feel some accountability to do the thing! In the meantime – please check out the rest of the site and the services on offer. I hope to see you in my home studio soon!
